This report describes the status of CSTNet and CERNET. The status of international links from

IHEP to Europe and the US is also reported.

CSTNET:

CSTNET has no significant international bandwidth upgrade in 2007. Gloriad is still the major

global link for CSTNET as shown in Figure 41 and Figure 42. Since the bandwidth between

China and Russia is 155 Mbps, the network traffic for CSTNET from China to Europe goes

through the US and Netherlands, which results in a large latency.
